Following the success of their orchestral concerts in Lisbon (MEO Arena, 2024) and Mexico City (2026), MOONSPELL return to Portugal for an exclusive performance in Alcobaça. The concert is scheduled for the 5th of December at Sala Panorama, as part of a special edition of “Fronteiras”, organised by the prestigious Cistermúsica.
Fifty musicians will take to the stage. MOONSPELL’s usual line-up will be joined by the Lisbon Sinfonietta Orchestra, conducted by Vasco Pearce de Azevedo, with orchestral arrangements by pianist and composer Filipe Melo.
Alcobaça will host the third performance ever of this magnificent show, which combines the power of heavy metal with the grandeur of a symphony orchestra. Immortalised on live album and DVD and acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, this collaboration reveals a new dimension to Portugal’s most internationally renowned band.
In the Land of Passion, MOONSPELL reinvent themselves once again in a concert that is truly unmissable.
