Eva Braga Simões (vocals) and Davide Amaral (guitar) present a concert paying tribute to the composer Luís de Freitas Branco, revisiting a collection of songs originally composed, for the most part, for voice and piano. In this journey, the electric guitar takes on the role of the piano, introducing new timbral colours and sonic textures that offer a fresh perspective on these works. Through a sensitive and contemporary approach, the duo offers a reinterpretation that respects the essence of the repertoire, whilst projecting it into new artistic contexts.
