Monastery of Santa Maria of Cós

Monastery of Santa Maria Cós was one of the most important monastic complexes in the region and the most important monastery for Cistercian nuns. Its lavish baroque interior is the ideal stage for ancient and sacred music concerts in the 50m-long church, with a gilded woodwork altar, or int the wooden boxed ceiling. Not widely known but certainly a heritage jewel, it is not left behind during the Festival, that every year brings there on the most awaited concerts.
