The Wandering Bard (2026)

Alcobaça Monastery hosted WATCH DAY, celebrating the terracotta sculptures recognised by the World Monuments Fund, and, as part of this event, presented a concert in the church, next to the Altarpiece of the Transfiguration of Saint Bernard, by The Wandering Bard Ensemble, which transported us to medieval Iberia through the Cantigas de Santa Maria, attributed to Alfonso X, the Wise.
