Orquestra das Beiras and Orquestra Sinfónica do DeCA (2026)
Cistermúsica’s inaugural concert took place at the Panorama Multiusos in Alcobaça, featuring the Orquestra das Beiras in collaboration with the DeCA / University of Aveiro Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Jan Wierzba. The programme was entirely devoted to Gustav Mahler’s monumental 5th Symphony, a major work in the symphonic repertoire, renowned for the expressive intensity and emotional breadth that runs through its five movements.
