Banda Sinfónica de Alcobaça (2025)
The Frontiers programme ended its journey through territories where music intersects with other forms of artistic expression with a tribute to Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso. Written to mark the centenary of the painter's death (in 2018), Sinfonia Amadeo was the highlight of the concert performed by the Alcobaça Symphonic Band, conducted by guest conductor Luís Carvalho, who also composed this work inspired by six paintings by the modernist painter.
