Banda Sinfónica de Alcobaça (2025)

In the final week, Cistermúsica once again focused on Shostakovich and Ravel: the French composer was celebrated in the closing concert of the Main Programme by the Banda Sinfónica de Alcobaça, which performed, in addition to Bolero and Pavane pour une infante défunte, Mussorgsky's iconic work Pictures at an Exhibition, whose wonderful orchestration was created by Ravel.
