Ricardo Ribeiro and João Paulo Esteves da Silva

Considered one of the best male voices of his generation in Fado, Ricardo Ribeiro is, however, a multifaceted artist, as well shown by his latest work Respeitosa Mente, edited on April 26, 2019 and whose presentations at Casa da Música, Oporto, on May 22 and at CCB, Lisbon, on June 1 took audiences wild! This project brought together three musician friends, top artists such as Portuguese jazz pianist João Paulo Esteves da Silva and American percussionist Jarrod Cagwin, and Ricardo Ribeiro himself, who set varied poetry of enormous quality to music. Besides the ravishing voice of Ricardo Ribeiro and the mastery and inspiration of João Paulo Esteves da Silva, the audience also surrendered to the creativity and genius of Jarrod Cagwin's percussion. Both on record and in concerts, the work has been highly praised. Ricardo Ribeiro has presented this project throughout Portugal and took it to Germany, where it sold out.
