Affrenttanduo began their studies and development in chamber music in 2020 at the School of Applied Arts (ESART-IPCB) under the guidance of Professor Paulo Jorge Ferreira. Formed by Sofia Weffort, a second-year student on the Master's programme in Music Teaching, and Ronison Borba, who holds a Master's degree in Music (accordion), the duo has presented a repertoire that is original to the formation and of an unprecedented nature. In 2021, they won first prize at the 14th edition of Folefest in the chamber music category and, in 2022, they were part of the CD/DVD Folefest Today's Accordion. In this concert, they bring varied ambiences to the stage, from the aural universe of the sea to Argentinian tango.
