This recital is part of the aCorda! project, promoted by the Alcobaça Music Academy (AMA) in partnership with the Applied Arts School of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco (ESART). The objectives of the project are to give the students of the articulated regime of AMA the closest contact with the students of this higher school that has placed several students in the most prestigious higher schools in Europe and national and international youth orchestras. This contact intends to promote a symbiosis between the institutions, since it motivates the young students of AMA to affirm themselves as an audience for chamber music and, eventually, to pursue their musical studies. On the other hand, it provides a stage for the young chamber music students of ESART to develop as performers and to promote the evolution of chamber music in Portugal.
