Under the direction of Maestro João Pedro Ferreira, theCoro do Orfeão de Leiria and the Coro de Câmara da Ourearte present at this festival the Requiem in D minor, Op. 48 by Gabriel Fauré, accompanied by pianist Nádia Roseiro. This concert in an unusual formation for the performance of this work will feature an opening through several pieces for Choir a capella and Choir with Piano thus showing what is the origin of the Coro do Orfeão de Leiria.
