In this concert, the programme focuses on Coimbra Fado and Carlos Paredes, with the Maat Saxophone Quartet performing adaptations of fado songs, as well as original works written by contemporary composers and inspired by fado songs. These songs are featured on the CD Renascer, the quartet's most recent edition.
