At the concert, we will hear works that represent the Cistercian musical practice of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, in their first modern hearings, and whose manuscripts are deposited in the National Library of Portugal in Lisbon. Marcos Portugal was also associated with this practice, and we will hear his Missa Concertada a 4, one of the many versions of the so-called "Great" Mass.
